DAY 1

Arrival in Tanzania – Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport, you are warmly welcomed by your private Hey Safaris guide with a friendly “Karibu Tanzania.” From here, you are transferred to Arusha, a peaceful town set beneath the slopes of Mount Meru and surrounded by coffee plantations and forested hills.

The afternoon is yours to unwind after your journey – enjoy the calm atmosphere of your lodge, take a short walk, or simply rest and soak in the feeling of having arrived in Africa.

DAY 2

Tarangire National Park

After breakfast, you journey to Tarangire National Park, a beautiful and wildlife-rich landscape known for its towering baobab trees and vast elephant herds. The Tarangire River winds through the park and becomes a lifeline for animals during the dry season, drawing impressive concentrations of wildlife.

Enjoy a scenic game drive through this quieter park, where encounters often feel intimate and unhurried, before settling into your lodge for the evening.

DAY 3

Serengeti National Park (Central)

Today you travel into the heart of the Serengeti, where the horizon stretches endlessly and wildlife roams freely across the plains. As you enter the park, game viewing begins immediately, offering your first taste of this iconic ecosystem.

The Central Serengeti is alive with activity year-round and is especially renowned for its predators, making every drive full of anticipation and discovery.

DAY 4

Serengeti National Park (Central)

Spend a full day exploring the Central Serengeti at a relaxed pace. Early morning and afternoon game drives allow you to experience the changing moods of the plains, from soft morning light to golden sunsets.

Between drives, enjoy time at camp – listening to the sounds of the bush, sharing stories, and fully immersing yourself in the rhythm of safari life.

DAY 5

Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, you depart the Serengeti and travel to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Descend into the Ngorongoro Crater, a natural sanctuary enclosed by towering crater walls and home to an extraordinary diversity of wildlife.

With its lush grasslands, soda lakes, and dense animal populations, the crater offers one of the most rewarding game drives in Tanzania. After your visit, continue to your lodge to relax and reflect on the journey so far.

DAY 6

Departure day

After breakfast, you are transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight. As your journey comes to an end, you depart with lasting memories of Tanzania’s landscapes, wildlife, and the warmth of its people.
